Installation Readme
Use the following information to update the Master Boot Record (MBR)
of your hard disk drive when your system cannot boot into Windows
after installing or upgrading the Rescue and Recovery (RnR) program.
Installing or upgrading the Rescue and Recovery application will
update the master boot record. During the next boot, the SafeGuard
Easy application might report that the MBR has changed and prompt
the user to either allow the change or undo the change. Users should
allow the change. If these changes are not applied, the computer might
not be able to successfully boot into Windows.
Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.
Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click either the repairmbr.iso or repairmbr.exe file link to
download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
the downloaded file. Be sure to select a path that does not
have a space in its name.
Extracting the update
---------------------
1. Insert a blank CD or 1.44MB floppy diskette into the CD drive
or diskette drive.
2. Locate the file you just downloaded.
3. To create a CD version repair kit, select a CD burning tool
and create the repair kit from the repairmbr.iso file.
4. To create a diskette version repair kit, double-click the
repairmbr.exe icon and follow the onscreen prompts. The necessary
files will be extracted to the diskette.
Installing the update
---------------------
1. Close all open applications.
2. Insert the floppy diskette or CD into the appropriate drive;
restart the computer and make sure your system will boot from
the Diskette or CD drive.
3. When the update starts, follow all onscreen prompts.
4. When the update completes, restart your computer and verify that
it operates properly.
Cái này dùng tốt cho dòng X60s nhưng tôi nghĩ dùng được cho dòng khác (chưa có điều kiện để thử). Trước đây tôi dùng 1 chường trình khác để cứu MBR trong trường hợp cài đặt lung tung bị hỏng mất MBR không vào được chương trình phục hồi tự động của X60s. Nếu Bạn cần thì cho địa chỉ Email
